The racial makeup of the CDP was 89.12% White, 0.71% Black or African American, 0.46% Native American, 1.46% Asian, 0.04% Pacific Islander, 5.31% from other races, and 2.89% from two or more races. 11.00% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There are 797 households out of which 42.7% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 65.2% were married couples living together, 9.7% had a female householder with no husband present, and 19.7% were non-families. 14.9% of all households were made up of individuals and 5.0% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 3.00 and the average family size was 3.32.
In the CDP the population was spread out with 30.6% under the age of 18, 6.5% from 18 to 24, 26.2% from 25 to 44, 28.1% from 45 to 64, and 8.6% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 39 years. For every 100 females there were 103.8 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 97.6 males.

For example, Acton comprises 3.63 % of the total area of the valley, and 2.62 % of the valley population, but the median household income and net asset figures are more than 38 % above those of the Antelope Valley.
