The population density was 1194.0 people per square mile (384.4/km²). There were 1,974 housing units at an average density of 235.1/sq mi (90.7/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 95.67% White, 0.20% African American, 0.22% Native American, 0.69% Asian, 0.16% Pacific Islander, 1.84% from other races, and 1.22% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 3.32% of the population.
There were 1,935 households out of which 64.0% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 86.6% were married couples living together, 4.5% had a female householder with no husband present, and 7.5% were non-families. 5.9% of all households were made up of individuals and 2.5% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 4.29 and the average family size was 4.46.
In the city the population was spread out with 42.9% under the age of 18, 10.5% from 18 to 24, 27.2% from 25 to 44, 14.4% from 45 to 64, and 5.0% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 22 years. For every 100 females there were 103.0 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 98.9 males.
The median income for a household in the city was $61,964, and the median income for a family was $63,513. Males had a median income of $47,330 versus $23,158 for females. The per capita income for the city was $18,088. About 2.9% of families and 3.1% of the population were below the poverty line, including 3.7% of those under age 18 and 7.5% of those age 65 or over.
